Miniature watercolours into Cards – Autumn with Marguerite Aberle
At last we can see the return of Autumn! Probably my favourite time of the year, from the point of view of light and colour.
The richness of the colouring deciduous trees, and the softness and warmth of the afternoon sunlight.
It throws beautiful shadows…lit with a golden sun filtering through colouring leaves.
Inspired? I am.

Miniature watercolours into Cards – Seascapes with Marguerite Aberle.
Painting the ocean in miniature has fazed & delighted many. How can that be? It is the little tricks that ‘pull it together’, bringing something that often looks like a volcano into the realm of moving ocean. Bliss
For those who have done this before, we will refine the beginnings of the waves…be more bold with our skies, add boats, yachts, a bird or two & maybe some land. Look at the different moods of the ocean.
For those of you new to painting the sea, you will delight in producing a wave or series of waves, & some beautiful skies…going home with at least 5…if not 8 beautiful cards.
Cost $95.
All materials supplied
Maximum 8 people, minimum 5.

  1. I am really looking forward to a great year of workshops Denise. I have promised myself to do some workshops this year. And many thanks for your support. Lyndendale is such a lovely creative space.

What a terrific series of workshops on offer at the Lyndendale Gallery. Last year, we so enjoyed a photography workshop with Jill Harrison. We had so much material that we were able to blog about it. I’m sure that with all the offerings, there will be something for us once again. Best wishes for a super successful 2015!

  3. Johanna says:

What a lovely selection of workshops. How I would like to do Jill’s photography workshop.
